Newsletter Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Newsletter Terms and Conditions define the rules for providing the electronic Newsletter service by Huge Thing sp. z o.o. and the terms for concluding an agreement for the supply of digital content in exchange for the provision of personal data.

The data controller is Huge Thing sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. 23 Lutego 26, 61-740 Poznań, Poland.

Personal data is processed for the purpose of providing the Newsletter service, sending commercial and marketing communications, and delivering digital materials related to the activities of Huge Thing sp. z o.o. Detailed information on personal data processing can be found in the Privacy Policy available on the Website.

I. Definitions

Newsletter Subscription Form – a form available on the Website enabling subscription to the Newsletter service.

Newsletter – an electronic service provided by Huge Thing sp. z o.o., consisting of sending email messages to Subscribers containing marketing, industry, and educational content, information about events, acceleration programs, investments, startups, and other materials related to the activities of Huge Thing sp. z o.o.

Materials – digital content made available to the Subscriber as part of the Newsletter service, including reports, ebooks, analyses, invitations, presentations, recordings, articles, or other educational and informational materials.

Subscriber – a natural or legal person who has subscribed to the Newsletter and agreed to receive email communications.

Payment with data – the provision of personal data by the User in exchange for access to Materials or the Newsletter service.

Newsletter Terms and Conditions – this document.

Website – the website available at www.hugething.vc, including all subpages.

GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.

User – any person using the Website or Newsletter service.

II. General provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions define:
    • rules for using the Newsletter service,
    • conditions for concluding and terminating the Newsletter service agreement,
    • rules for the delivery of digital content,
    • complaint procedure.

  3. Information published on the Website does not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code but an invitation to conclude a contract.
  4. These Terms and Conditions are available free of charge on the Website in a form allowing download, storage, and printing.

III. Rules of using the Newsletter

  1. The Newsletter service consists of sending email messages by Huge Thing sp. z o.o. containing:
    • information about the activities of Huge Thing,
    • information about acceleration programs, startups, and investments,
    • educational and industry materials,
    • event invitations,
    • marketing and commercial communications.
  2. The agreement is concluded after:
    1. completing the subscription form and providing an email address,
    2. accepting the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy,
    3. consenting to receive commercial information,
    4. confirming subscription via an activation link (double opt-in).
  3. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to provide the service.
  4. The User must provide true and accurate data.
  5. The Newsletter service is free of charge.
  6. The Subscriber may unsubscribe at any time by:
  7. Unsubscribing results in termination of the agreement.
  8. Huge Thing sp. z o.o. may discontinue the Newsletter service at any time after informing Subscribers.

IV. Technical requirements

To use the Newsletter service, the following are required:

  • a device with internet access,
  • an up-to-date web browser,
  • an active email address.

The Company applies security measures, including SSL encryption.

V. Complaints

  1. Complaints may be submitted via:
  2. A complaint should include a description of the issue and contact details.
  3. Complaints are handled within 14 days.

VI. Personal data

  1. The data controller is Huge Thing sp. z o.o.
  2. Data is processed for the purpose of:
    • Newsletter delivery,
    • marketing,
    • defence against claims.
  3. Legal bases: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f), and user consent.
  4. Data may be shared with IT providers, mailing system providers, and operational support vendors.
  5. Data is processed until consent is withdrawn or the user unsubscribes.
  6. The User has rights under the GDPR (access, erasure, objection, etc.).
  7. The User may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

VII. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

  1. The Company may amend these Terms and Conditions for important reasons, including:
    • changes in law,
    • technological changes,
    • changes in Website functionality.
  2. Users will be informed of changes.
  3. Changes take effect no earlier than 14 days after publication.

VIII. Final provisions

  1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by Polish law.
  2. Matters not regulated herein shall be governed by applicable Polish law.
  3. These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 18.05.2026.
