The application process for the next Huge Thing Pre-acceleration Online Program - which is being organized in partnership with Google for Startups - is now open and runs thru April 11th, 2021.

The Huge Thing Pre-acceleration Online Program – which is being organized in partnership with Google for Startups – is designed for pre-seed and seed-stage startups with a draft version of their MVP. The Program is targeted at startups from Europe – mostly those from CEE, the Baltic states, Balkans, or Greece – which do business in fields such as education, medicine, gaming, sustainability, and other industries with global potential.

The Program’s objective is to validate business ideas and prepare startups for their first investment round. It provides startup founders with tools and knowledge which make it possible for them to build strong and profitable businesses. The Program is non-grant and equity-free. Applications are open thru April 11th. The recruitment process consists of 3 stages: collecting online applications, conducting online interviews with selected startups, and online Bootcamp. The second edition of the Huge Thing Pre-acceleration program, which is being organized in partnership with Google for Startups, will be held online.

What are we looking for?

 Team strength

We’re looking for motivated teams that are dedicated to working on their startup full-time – people who are flexible and open to receiving feedback. The ideal team is made up of at least 2 members.

The draft version MVP

We’re looking for solutions with great value and global potential.

Your product should answer the problems of millions.

Market potential

We’re looking for projects with great market potential. Initial and current market research is a must when it comes to validating new solutions.

Rules & Timeline of 9th Edition

This pre-acceleration program is addressed to startups from Europe. We will be happy to enters startups from CEE, the Baltics, Balkans, and Greece which do business in fields such as education, medicine, gaming, sustainability, and other industries with global potential.

To apply you need to submit an online application (HERE). Tell us more about your motivation and biggest competitive advantage so we can decide if the program is for you.

Applications are open thru April 11th. The recruitment process consists of 3 stages: collecting online applications, conducting online interviews with selected startups, and an online Bootcamp.

In the third part of the recruitment process, selected teams will be invited to an online Bootcamp which is scheduled for 3 business days between May 24th and 28th, 2021. Startups selected for the online Bootcamp will be informed about it on May 31st via email.

Startups selected for the Huge Thing Pre-acceleration Program, which is being organized in partnership with Google for Startups, will be publicly announced on June 8th. The Program lasts for 5 weeks – between June 7th and July 21st, 2021 – and will be held online.

This Program is based on the lean startup methodology – one of the leading approaches to the development of new solutions. It consists of workshops, 1:1 mentoring sessions, meetings with VCs, business partners, and individual work on your project.

Each week, startups will have 1 to 2 days of workshops and individual mentoring sessions with experts. As a part of the program, each startup will also work with a individually assigned tutor who will help set priorities and evaluate the work of the startup.

Participation in the program is free of charge. We don’t take any equity from you. The program will be conducted in English.
